Cape Cod: City Tour App

CONCEPT AND DESIGN
The central aim was to develop a travel app tailored for Cape Cod, Massachusetts, offering users a delightful, tranquil, and sophisticated experience while accessing a personalized itinerary for their upcoming travels. This app also empowers users to seamlessly book their stay, attractions, and dining options for their trip. Given the high tourism during the summer months on this sandy peninsula, my aim was to ease stress by unifying choices and presenting specific attractions and restaurants based on individual interests and budget preferences.

The concept was drawn from inspiration of coastal-themed prints featured in The New Yorker, evoking a nautical and serene journey reflected in the app's fluid and curvilinear design. The typography, paired with carefully selected colors, embodies an intuitive layout that ensures a seamless experience when planning your next trip to Cape Cod.
RESEARCH
Cape Cod, founded in 1602 by Pilgrims who landed on its distinctive hooked tip, is renowned for its beautiful beaches, picturesque lighthouses, historic sites, and award-winning seafood. This sandy peninsula holds approximately 560 miles of stunning coastline. Key attractions include the annual Hydrangea Festival, the Cape Cod Baseball League in the summer, and shopping along Provincetown's Commercial Street. Thus, Cape Cod's delightful climate and scenic beauty make it a top-tier tourist destination in the country.
